Album release 05/30/2010
Work on my album, which I'm releasing under the name JP Morrison, tentatively titled Crisis of Faith, is in the final stages. My producer, Jonathan Baker, and I are adding backing vocals and working on the final mix. It should be ready sometime in June. I've gathered some great musicians together to play with me, including drummer Rich Mangicaro (The Glenn Frey/Joe Walsh Band), keyboardist Alan Okuye (Ricky Lee Jones, Colin Hay and Bobby Womak), solo fingerstyle guitarist Richard Peikoff, guitarist Tim Burlingame (Sweet Talk Radio), cellist Georgia Visser and bassist Larry Taylor (Canned Heat, John Mayall and Tom Waits).
